-Basic control used on the internet at layer 3 of the OSI model
-IP support unique addressing for computer on a network(IPV4 and IPV6).
-IP packets includes both a header,(specifies source,destination and information about data).

-IP network have( source,destination,data).
-IP address is a numerical label
